Help a Child Read to Succeed

Help a Child Read to Succeed
Reading is a fundamental skill that all children need in order to succeed in school. By volunteering with Read to Succeed for as little as 30 minutes per week you can make a huge difference in a child’s life. Please join our community effort to help a child Read to Succeed.
This year we are focusing all of our efforts on the kiddos at Jefferson Elementary, and we cannot do it without our incredible volunteers! Please join us to help a child Read to Succeed!
If you are interested in volunteering with our early literacy program, please contact Robin, our Read to Succeed Program Manager, at or call 573-587-0314.

Community Investment Committee

Who decides where the money United Way raises each year goes?

Concerned, caring people like you make that decision, and YOU can be one of them by volunteering to serve on our Allocations Review Panel. United Way’s allocations process is a great place to learn about our community, meet interesting and committed people from all walks of life, develop leadership skills and help one in three people in the region. Interested in making a positive difference?

Contact Elizabeth Shelton or call 573-334-9634 for information about this volunteer opportunity.
