United Days of CaringDid you know that volunteering provides more than just "feel good" benefits? In addition to shedding a light on how you can help your community, volunteering is good for building your network, improving social skills, keeps you active, and can lead to gaining new work experiences.

We get it. Sometimes it's difficult to find projects that aren't ongoing or to figure out the best way to connect with a new organization. What exactly is the best way to help your community? Our answer is simple - United Days of Caring!

Join us on April 27th and 28th as we strengthen the communities we serve. Numerous United Way partner agencies are hosting volunteer events to give you the opportunity to engage with the network. Interested in spending a day with the Boys and Girls Club kiddos? Would your management team like to help Salvation Army wax their frequently used gymnasium floors? We have projects for you!

This year, Women UNITED is hosting a "Get on the Bus" tour to highlight the work of our many partner agencies. We invite new and old donors to join us on Friday, April 27th to hear from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeast Missouri, the Safe House for Women, Community Caring Council, and First Call for Help. This will also be a great opportunity to learn more about the work United Way has done in partnership with the Cape Girardeau Public Schools.
