What is the United Way?

Communities across the country have their own United Way that they trust to raise and distribute funds for charities. The United Way of Southeast Missouri is more than just a fundraiser. Like other cutting-edge United Ways, your United Way is also a network of the area's experts on poverty, child development, and other issues important to you and your family. Local experts with local resources means local results.

Your United Way also has it's own initiatives such as LIFE, Success by 6, and First Call for HELP in addition to the partner programs that receive United Way funding each year. Funding is awarded only to those programs that can demonstrate measurable results within our agenda for change.
