The United Way of Southeast Missouri needs all hearts on deck!
As the 2016 community drive nears an end, United Way is asking businesses and individuals to “Give from the Heart” through the month of February as an additional push to raise funds and awareness.
The mini-campaign kicked off on January 25 with a Buffalo Wild Wings share night.
Diners who mentioned United Way to their servers at either lunch or dinner were able to donate 10% of their total meal cost back to our organization! We ate wings and raised funds - there's no better way to give back to your community!
Did you miss your chance to grab dinner with us? No worries! We have a lineup of other restaurants in the area who are ready to #GiveFromTheHeart with you!
Join us at one of our upcoming share nights:
Tuesday, February 6th from 5-9 p.m. - Beef O'Brady's in Cape Girardeau and Perryville
Tuesday, February 28th from 10:30-midnight - Wings Etc. in Cape Girardeau and Jackson
Wednesday, March 1st from 5-9 p.m. - Katy O'Ferrell's Publick House
Throughout the month of February, a variety of area businesses and organizations, including Alliance Bank, Ameren MO, Cup n’ Cork, Kuts Plus, Patrick Furniture, and Broadway Prescription Shop, will sell hearts to customers for a minimum donation of $1. The Bank of Missouri will sell hearts and also host a trivia night on February 24th at the Jackson Civic Center. Additional share nights and fundraisers still are being planned throughout the community during the month of February.
Event details, promotional materials, and ideas for participating can be obtained by calling Kristin Funderburk, Community Relations Manager, at 573-334-9634 and visiting www.unitedwayofsemo.org.
